Copa America: Argentina enters the quarterfinals with their second consecutive victory

Kathmandu: Argentina has won the Copa America for the second time in a row. Argentina beat Paraguay 1-0 in their second Group A match on Tuesday morning.

Alejandro Gomez scored for Argentina in the 10th minute. Captain Lionel Messi missed the injury time of the first half but was not recognized as offside.

In Group A, unbeaten Argentina are top with 7 points from 3 games. Paraguay is in third place with 3 points from 2 games.

Argentina has also made it to the quarterfinals. The top four teams out of five in the group will advance to the quarterfinals.

Argentina now have to play Bolivia in the group stage.
