Messi prepares to extend his contract with Barcelona
KATHMANDU: Argentine striker Lionel Messi is set to extend his contract with Spanish club Barcelona, a report has claimed.
Messi plans to extend his contract with Barcelona until 2026, according to the sports website Goal.
Messi has also agreed to a significant pay cut to stay at Barcelona.
Freed from a 20-year journey with Barcelona, Messi has shown interest in Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City clubs. Messi, 34, last signed a four-year deal with Barcelona worth चार 594 million. That agreement, which ended in 30, is gone.
