Nepal is playing against Bangladesh today
Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against Bangladesh in the Under-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers Today. Nepal is going to play the fourth and final match in the qualifiers.
The game will start at 9:30 PM at the Sheikh Ali Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in Bahrain. Nepal has lost consecutively in the previous three matches. Nepal is out of the competition.
Nepal lost 2-0 to Bhutan in the first match, 3-1 to Qatar in the second match and 6-0 to the host Bahrain in the third match.
Nepal in group ‘B’ is scoreless. If we can beat Bangladesh in today’s match, it will be a happy ending with three points. Bangladesh defeated Bhutan and played a goalless draw with Bahrain.
The group winners will qualify for the U20 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan in 2023. Qatar has won all three matches and is at the top with 9 points. Bahrain has 7 points. Now one of the teams from Qatar and Bahrain will make it to the Asian Cup.
