Kathmandu: The Nepali national cricket team is playing a practice match against the local club Ontario of Canada today.

The game will start at 9:15 pm in King City Ontario. The Nepali team left for Canada on Tuesday. There, the team will travel to Scotland after a practice game with Ontario and two one-day games. Canada will have a one-day series on July 20 and 21.

Nepal has made two changes in the squad for the tour of Canada and Scotland. Basir Ahmed has been included in the national team for the first time. Spin all-rounder Pawan Sararf has also returned to the team.

US spinners Sagar Dhakal, Sushan Bhari and opener Sunil Dhamala are not in the squad. Scotland will host a triangular one-day series between Nepal, Scotland and Namibia. Nepal will play against Scotland on July 12 and 13 and Namibia on July 12 and 13.
