Nepal Super League: Jhapa FC gets NECO Insurance partner

KATHMANDU: Nepal Super League’s Newcomer Jhapa FC has got NECO Insurance as it’s insurance partner.

Jhapa FC established itself as the first private football club in the country, signed an agreement with NECO on Monday.

The agreement was signed by Vice President Yam Basnet and CEO of NECO Insurance Ashok Kumar Khadka on behalf of the club.

As per the agreement, the players affiliated to Jhapa in the Super League. They will have health insurance of up to Rs 1 million.

“We are happy to have NECO Insurance as our insurance partner,” said Basnet. Vice-president was happy with the deal.

We would also like to thank NECO Insurance for this cooperation. “We were impressed of Jhapa FC’s vision for football and players”, said Ashok Kumar Khadka.

Club’s general secretary Sujan Gautam said that, although they are participating in the Super League for the first time.

They have confident of doing well in the first season. A total of 10 teams including three new clubs are participating in the Nepal Super League.

Which is going to start from April 10 this year. Famous forward Anjan Bista is the marquee player of Jhapa FC.
