Kathmandu: The pair of Rose Pandey and Sania Chand won the silver medal in the under-17 doubles category of the South Asian Junior Regional Championship 2022 in Guwahati, India.

In the final match held today, they defeated Indian players Aisani Tiwari and Ramu Rujula by 21-4, 21-9.

Earlier, the Nepalese team had already won third place in the mixed team event for both under-17 and under-15 age groups.

This time, all the members of the Nepali Junior Badminton Team, led by coach Jitendra Sharma and team manager Chabilal Shahi, are returning with medals.
